Terms of Service

Last updated [25 July 2026]

Welcome to GeoPlay. By playing, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

GeoPlay is a geography game provided by [GeoPlay]. It's offered for entertainment and learning. Facts and figures come from public datasets and AI-generated flavour, and may contain errors — GeoPlay is not an authoritative geographic or educational reference.

Your account and conduct

You may play anonymously or with an identity you create. You're responsible for activity under your account. Don't misuse the service: no harassment or hateful content (including in codenames, chat, or feedback), no cheating or exploiting bugs to falsify leaderboards, no attempts to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other players.

Content you submit

You keep ownership of what you submit (codename, chat messages, feedback). By submitting it, you grant [GeoPlay] a non-exclusive licence to use it to operate and improve the service. We may remove content that violates these terms.

Intellectual property

The GeoPlay name, design, and code are owned by [GeoPlay]. Geographic boundaries use Natural Earth (public domain); country attributes use open datasets under their own licences. You may not copy or resell the game itself without permission.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data shown is accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, [GeoPlay] is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes and termination

We may update the service or these terms. Continued play after changes means you accept them. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction].
